Mary Todd

Mary Lisa Todd, 55, departed this Earth on Sunday, May 15, 2016, with her children by her side.  She was born on May 21, 1960 in Chicago, IL to the late Ben Wesley Todd, Sr. and Corine M. Todd.  She was the 5th blessing to the Todd family.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age and devoted the rest of her life serving the Lord and walking within her Christian faith.  She was a faithful and loving member of Abundance of Grace Christian Church.

Despite enduring life’s challenges, Mary was a very amusing and uplifting person to be around. Her interests included spending time with her children/grandchildren, crocheting, knitting, and singing. She devoted much of her time and energy as an artistic creator of blankets, hats, and sweaters for the people that she knew and loved.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Walter Todd and Sammie Todd.

Mary is survived by her children: Antwon Todd, Kevin Jefferson (Shawndolynn Bell-Jefferson), and Tawana Todd; her grandchildren: Kamora Todd, Khloe Todd, Aniya Bell, Kevin K. Bell, Aryssah Todd, Addyson Todd, Asher Todd, Lynequa Epps and Marquavius Epps; her siblings: Ben W. Todd, Jr., Judia T. Hunter (Gerald Hunter), Carolyn Todd, Alice Hill, and Andra Todd; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
