Ms. Lillian Montgomery McPhearson was born February 1, 1922 to the late John Montgomery and Elza Needhaw in Hinds County.
Mother Lillian received Christ and was baptized at an early age. She served as a faithful member of Galilee M. B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Jenkins. She was a faithful mother under the leadership of Rev. Bennie Wallace until her heath declined. Mother Lillian continued to let everyone know, God is good, put your trust in Him. (Proverbs 3:5) Mother Lillian made a impression and left an impression of joy and laughter upon everyone she met. (Proverbs 15:13) Mother Lillian loved God, nature, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Mother Lillian departed this life on October 30, 2020 at Hospice Ministries. (2 Corinthians 5:8)
Mother Lillian was preceded in death by her: husband, Roosevelt McPhearson; brothers, Dorsey Montgomery, Jessie Montgomery and Roosevelt Montgomery; sisters, Mae Lee McFarland, Loyce Harris, Loretta Coleman, Rosella Collins, Ruth Kelly, and Beatrice Mitchell.
Mother Lillian Montgomery McPhearson leaves to honor and cherish her memories: her daughter, Fayrean Myers West of Jackson, MS; four grandchildren, Tyre M. Myers (Dashala), Jurell R. Myers (Kelia), Lashala T. Myers and Shawn Walker (Kaydian); seven great grandchildren, Tyler Myers, Trevor Myers, Elijah Myers, Ethan Myers, Eric Wilson, Kayla Walker, and Josiah Walker; two special nephews, Perkin Mitchell ad Richard Myers (phone buddy); a special niece, Lorene Thomas and a host of other nephews, nieces, relative and friends.
