Kelvin Gibson

Kelvin Gibson was born to the late John Henry Gibson, Sr. and Elizabeth Wood Gibson on February 12, 1964 in Utica, MS.

Kevin attended Mixon Elementary and Utica High School. 

Kelvin worked in construction, laying piping and flooring for houses.  He also was a heavy equipment operator.  Kevin enjoyed building things and listening to music in his spare time.

Kelvin departed this life on September 20, 2023. He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Phyllis Gibson, Velma Gibson and Carrie Gibson; and brothers, John Henry Gibson, Jr., Ellis Gibson, and Willie Gibson.

Kelvin leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Kimberly Nolan of Bolton, MS; son, Kevin Nolan of Jackson, MS; sisters, Irene Gibson of Bolton, MS, Mamie Lee Gibson of Utica, MS, Karen Gibson of Jackson, MS, Laura (Percy) Terrell of Utica, MS; and Lillie Wade of Camden, SC; brother, Larry (Felicia) Dotson of Jackson, MS; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
