On Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at her home in Canton, MS, our Heavenly Father called one of his children home. Johnnette Denise Pheal-Archie transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life.
Johnnette was born to the late Mr. Duffery Pill and Mrs. Barbara Pheal on June 16,1965. She was the third child and the oldest daughter.
Johnnette graduated from Canton High School in 1983. She went on to work as a housekeeper at Special Touch. After 15 years, she became a nanny for 6 years. She finished her working career as Quality Assurance at Sunpine Corporation, where she worked for the last 11 years.
Johnnette accepted Christ as her lord and savior and was baptized at Southern Hill M.B. Church under the leadership of Pastor James Griffin.
Johnnette enjoyed meeting new friends. For her to only be 5’2’’, she had an enormous personality. Her smile and laugh was even bigger. Her brown eyes always seemed to brighten every room she walked in. She adored collecting and buying earrings. She had a very unique collection of all shapes, sizes, and colors. She took pleasure in being around family, laughing, dancing, singing, and playing cards.
Johnnette took pride in raising all girls; Cakeisha(“my twin”), Tiara(“turkey legs”), and Brianna(“my baby”). She bragged to anyone she could about her daughters. She loved them with all her heart.
She leaves to cherish and remember her beautiful spirit: her husband, Henry Archie Jr., her loving mother, Mrs. Barbara Pheal; three beautiful daughters; Cakeisha Pheal, Tiara Pheal, and Brianna Pheal; three sweet grandchildren; Camari Jackson, Jayla Pendlelton, and Hayven Pendleton; her stepson; Nicholas Archie; two special nieces; Tawonda Mack and De’Kiyah Tompkins; her mother-in-law; Doris(Henry)Archie, four siblings; Thomas Powell, James(Lynda) Winston, Diane(Tommie) Coleman, and Duffery Pheally; her childhood friend; Tracey Tompson; her special father-in-law; James Otto, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister; Evelyn Peel-Watts and her father; Duffery Pill. She will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to have experienced and known her sweet, kind spirit.
