Jermall Lewis

Jermall “Rashad” Lewis, the fifth child born to Claudette Lewis and the late Archie Lee Lewis, Sr. on January 8, 1988.   He departed his life on Monday, August 9, 2021 at University of Mississippi Medical Center – UMMC.

Rashad was educated in the Hinds County Public Schools and Hinds AHS in Copiah County. He attended Hinds Community College-Utica Campus where he graduated and received a degree in masonry.  After graduation he was employed at Valley Foods and Sanderson Farms

Rashad was preceded in death by his father, Archie Lee Lewis, Sr.; sister, Niki Lewis Banks; nephew, Assad Harvey; and father-in-law, Andrew H. Bell Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Andrea Lewis; a daughter, Kiearra Lewis of Bolton, MS; a devoted mother, Claudette Lewis of Clinton, MS; three sisters, Latasha Lewis of Bolton, MS, Fatemeh (Edwin) Harvey of Birmingham, AL, and Arkamia Lewis of Bolton, MS; one brother Archie Lee Lewis, Jr. of Bolton, MS; grandmother, Venia Green of Bolton, MS; two special nephews that was like brothers, K’Ran Lewis and Damein Lewis of Clinton, MS; a special uncle, Curtis Lewis of Jackson, MS; mother-in-law, Earnestine Banyard of Jackson, MS; brother-in-law, Andrew H. Bell, Jr.; step-son, Aundreas L. Bell and step-daughter, Aubrea Caldwell.  Rashad also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish his life.
