Daphne Buckley

Daphne Denise Buckley, the ninth child born to the late Elester Buckley, Sr. and the late Olivia Buckley was born on June 11, 1970.  She departed her life on Friday, September 24, 2021 at St. Dominic Hospital.

Daphne was educated at Clinton Public Schools.  She pursued a degree in nursing.  After school she became employed at Burger King, where she worked for 16 years.

Daphne was preceded in death by: her father Elester Buckley, Sr.; mother, Olivia Buckley; and brother, Elester Buckley, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughters Danitra Buckley, Reka Buckley, Jakaiyah Buckley; her loving son Kevontae Buckley; grandsons Jwaun Fortner, Tyrequis Buckley, Chance Gates Jr., Tacaurious Buckley, Chase Gates; granddaughters Mauriel Fortner, and Taliyah Buckley all of Clinton, MS.  She also leave to cherish her memories sisters Nancy Wilson, Claudette Lewis, Mary Wilson, Dearine Dillard, and Debbie Buckley; her brothers Roy Buckley, and Robert Buckley.  Daphne also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish her life.
