Annie Kimble Harris was born on October 31, 1934 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie and Katie Mae Kimble. She departed this life on April 22, 2017.
Annie Harris attended Champion Hill School in Bolton, MS along with Sumner Hill High School in Clinton, MS. She was a long time employee of Care Inn Nursing Home in Clinton, MS. There she spent many years as a nurses aide, private sitter and a hair dresser for the community.
She received Christ at an early age. Annie Harris was united in holy matrimony to Robert Lee Harris. Following their union, she joined St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church where she was an active member for many years.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: step-daughter, Mary H. Thomas of Jackson, MS; two grandchildren, Roderick Thompson, Sr. and Tamara James of Jackson, MS; six great grandchildren, Justin Lee, Sr. Airman Jonneqeria Cavett, Roderick Thompson, Jr. Caleb James, Katlyn James, and Matthew James; one sister, Ruthie Kimble Ransom of Jackson, MS; two brothers, Willie Kimble, Jr. of Detroit, MI and Joe Kimble of Clinton, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were: two sisters, Willie B. Kimble and Rosie Lee McCoy; and three brothers, J. D. Porter, Eddie Lee Kimble, and Eugene Kimble.
